World of Warcraft's Stromgarde, other areas to lose elite tag

It has already been hinted by Blizzard back in October that the latest World of Warcraft patch will have an impact not only on the MMORPG's items and levelling pace but on some of its areas to complement the first two changes as well.

Forum moderator Bornakk recently made a post on the official WoW forums, answering the inquiry of some players about Stromgarde in the Arathi Highlands. This is what the blue poster had to say:

Stromgarde and many other areas had their "elite" tag removed in patch 2.3. This opens up more quests for players to complete when leveling up characters and should provide for a smoother leveling experience.

Aside from Stromgarde, Bornakk was unable to specify the other areas which had been removed from the elite list. The best thing to do, perhaps, is to go around World of Warcraft and look for these places ourselves.
