World of Warcraft to undergo maintenance for Arena rewards fix

If you were expecting to get an Arena title or Nether Drake for your time spent beefing up your impressive Season 2 Arena rating, you might be surprised when you log on. Reports have come in stating that Arena titles and Nether Drake mount rewards in World of Warcraft were wrongly given. Luckily, Blizzard CM Drysc has put a post to announce a downtime to fix those said issues.

The problem was brought to the attention of Blizzard when reports came in of members getting the wrong arena titles. Concurrently, reports were also sent in stating that members who were supposed to get Season 2 Nether Drakes, which are visually distinguishable from Season 1 Nether Drakes, got Season 1 Nether Drakes instead.

Drysc posted on the forums, stating that maintenance would be done to fix those problems:

We will be bringing all realms down for urgent maintenance beginning at 5:00 AM PST until approximately 6:00 AM PST. This maintenance will apply the correct Season 2 Arena titles and send out the new Season 2 Nether Drakes to those who qualified. We apologize for the short notice and any interruption this may cause in your normally scheduled play.

It's a great achievement to be hailed as one of the high-ranking Arena players in-game. We're glad to see Blizzard making it a priority issue to fix the Arena problems so that players can enjoy the fruits of their hard labor.
